It's been over a year since my son was diagnosed with Autism. It's been a journey and one of the more interesting ones I've ever traveled.I'm thankful for all the advice I've received, thankful for the wisdom and strength to get him the help he needs/needed. When I noticed the abnormal behavior in my son, one of the most difficult things to face was REALITY.........Reality hurt, because in one second, you imagine your child, his progress, his adulthood and so on and in that same second, you have to imagine the worst.... He's only been in therapy 6 months and the difference it has made is beyond me. He reacts, he repeats some words, he is showing emotions again.....It was hard losing my son, as I slowly witnessed him digressing and it hurt, so bad....But as this journey continued, I remained, full of faith and hope and today, I am just HAPPY to say my baby is doing so well.... thank you Helping Hand and staff YOU ALL ARE AWESOME....My son looks forward to school and his progress shows everyday......
